On Sunday the 8th of September 2024, a commemorative Out of the Shadows event was held to remember those lost to suicide and remember those lost to Suicide and help Australians in crisis.

Members of the community joined Lifeline Melbourne, Support After Suicide & The Compassionate Friends Victoria for a short 1km walk around Flagstaff Gardens, followed by a ribbon tying ceremony and the reading of a memorial roll.  

A similar event is held each year on or around World Suicide Prevention Day. Stay posted for news of our 2025 event closer to the time.
